Mission of the National Brittany Association
The mission of the National Brittany Association (NBA) is to promote the Brittany as a first-class bird dog by encouraging breeding programs that emphasize exceptional hunting ability, style, and stamina. The NBA is committed to conducting high-quality field events at premier venues that showcase the Brittany's natural abilities and excellence as a pointing dog.
The NBA also seeks to restore and strengthen the American Field Brittany tradition through National Championships, Regional Championships, and club-level events conducted under the judging standards of the American Field/United Kennel Club (UKC) and in accordance with the Amateur Field Trial Clubs of America (AFTCA). Throughout these efforts, the NBA is dedicated to fostering sportsmanship, integrity, and camaraderie among its members, participants, and guests.
